this tuesday night we were heading home on the bus, and dave and i were both right at the very back, standing against the glass window. all o f a sudden we hear this loud CRUNCH, were jolted forward and then our heads hit the back of the glass - WELL - a truck had rear-ended us! it was pouring rain, we weren't sure when a replacement bus would be coming (if it would at all!); no one on the bus spoke any english; waited it out about 15-20 minutes then decided we'd be better off hoofing it, so off we go, in the rain, further from our apartment than had we walked from school (this particular bus winds around taipa quite abit). anyways, we were very thankful the truck was not going any faster or that the hood of the truck was any higher - we would have been toast! as we were watching the two drivers immediately get on their cells phones and start pacing all we could do was laugh and think was "wow, bad luck in china!".
